Race 8 - The Music City - # 6 Tobys Heart (1.30*) - "A" Selection

Race 9 - The Kentucky Downs Ladies Marathon - # 7 Family Way (5.60) - "B" Selection

Race 10 - # 10 Yamato (0.90*) - "B" Selection

Not singling Tobys Heart in the second leg on the main ticket was a mistake, as Tobys Heart proved to be undeniably best in that contest, winning The Music City while in hand late. Still, when all was said and done it was a successful play, if just barely, as I collected more than I invested.

For the record, here are the $0.50 Will Pays for the other four runners to which I would have cashed in the nightcap:

But that's what might have been. What actually came to be was a correct Late Pick Four sequence of 2 / 6 / 7 / 10 which paid $146.10 for a fifty cent wager. That makes for a profit of $12.10 on my initial $134 investment; or approximate odds of 0.09-1. Which sure ain't much; but I guarantee you that you'll never see me turn my nose up at profit.
