It's Independence Day weekend in the USA, with stakes galore being offered by racetracks throughout the county. For Northern California, the key stakes Saturday is the $75k Oak Tree Sprint, scheduled to be run at a distance of six furlongs over God made dirt. I'll be taking a look at that contest below, as I take another run at The Late Pick Four at Pleasanton.

With Thatbeingsaid is a second time starter who disappointed as the Post Time Favorite in her debut while capturing the Show. Passionate Road, sired by Quality Road, could improve with the move to dirt, as well as the cutback to one turn racing.
Winning Appeal has failed as the most heavily bet runner in three of her last four contests, all at this class level. On the plus side, Winning Appeal has finished in the Trifecta in each of her last seven starts. So Winning Appeal can win at this level; it's just a question of if she wants to win. Perhaps switching to dirt will give Winning Appeal the motivation to cross under the wire first; but I'm going to play this leg with the presumption that it does not. So on my tickets, Winning Appeal will join with the rest of the field as a backup "C" Selection.

Union Dance looks classiest here, and Union Dance appears to be in top form, missing by just a half length of entering this contest with a five race winning streak. Harmon could improve going second off the freshening. The backup "C" Selections are everyone else.

Law Abin Citizen no doubt needed that last race on the turf, as Law Abin Citizen was coming off a nine month layoff. Anyportinastorm is the defending champ, having won this event last year. Darnquick appears to be in top form, and the sharp workout last Saturday suggests that Darnquick will do well off the freshening. Top Harbor is two-for-two in his career over this track. You know what; everybody into the pool! Rather than drive myself crazy by trying to decide who to toss, I'm going "ALL" in this leg on my main ticket.

Sheza Girly Girl has run well in the past over this track, and Sheza Girly Girl could be the one running best late.
Munn She's Pretty and Warm Summer filled out the bottom two rungs of the Trifecta at this class level last time out, albeit on the synthetic surface at Golden Gate. Go Smiley Go lost all chance at the start last time out. The backup "C" Selections are the rest of the field.
