Race 5 - # 7 Passionate Road (Final Odds 6.40) - "B" Selection
Race 6 - # 3 Harmon (2.20) - "B" Selection
Race 7 - The Oak Tree Sprint - # 6 Law Abidin Citizen (1.00*) - "A" Selection
Race 8 - # 6 Warm Summer (1.80*) - "B" Selection & "C" Selection*
* # 8 Lagatha, a "C" Selection, was a late scratch from Race 8; I therefore received Post Time Favorite Warm Summer in her place.
Watching Post Time Favorite Law Abidin Citizen get home under the wire first in the Oak Tree Sprint was not what I had in mind when I punched the "ALL" button for that leg. Still, it was exciting to see # 5 Top Harbor (9.30) do all that he could in that contest to make me look smart, as Top Harbor missed victory by just a neck. And obviously I have no real complaints regarding the overall results, as Saturday was a day for me to collect instead of contribute.
For the record, here are the $0.50 Will Pays for the other three runners to which I would have cashed in the nightcap:
# 1 Munn She’s Pretty (6.10) - $293.80 Finish: 4th
# 7 Sheza Girly Girl (2.30) - $146.45 Finish: 3rd
# 9 Go Smiley Go (5.80) - $239.20 Finish: 2nd
But that's what might have been. What actually came to be was a correct Late Pick Four sequence of 7 / 3 / 6 / 6 which paid $96.60 for a fifty cent wager. That makes for a profit of $41.10 on my initial $55.50 investment; or approximate odds of 0.74-1.
I hope you all had it with me. May God bless us as we spend our winnings.
Onto the next race!
Peace and Love,
Jimbo
Good hit Jimbo!
